Chris and Joe Alberino have been in the business since as far back as they can remember. They bring over 40 years of combined experience to the table. — and to your table

With their roots going back to their grandfather as being known in the city of "Troy" for his bread! Joseph Alberino, Sr. was a well-known baker in Troy for years — opening and growing a large bakery in Troy, NY back in the late 60's known as Alberino & Sons along with his two sons, Joseph Jr. (our father) and Carl Alberino (our uncle).

Our father Joe Jr. had kept the tradition of baking in our family going until his passing in (1987) - Dad was only 45. So, to continue that tradition and the same great recipies, Chris and Joe decided to pursue their own bakery — in early 2006 they opened the Cookie Factory! They were trying a little different business approach (hence the name) their ambition was to focus on "Cookies" to local Supermarket chains. But, when word got out that the "Alberino" family had opened another bakery in Troy, the response was unbelieveble and before they knew it, they were a full-line Bake Shop!

Cookies, Pies, Breads, Rolls, Pastries, Birthday Cakes, Wedding Cakes, Desserts, Donuts and sooo much more. Still, cookies are over 50% of the business revenue. The retail end of the business is very successful thanks to our many loyal customers.

So, to keep that tradition alive today, Chris and Joe and the entire Cookie Factory staff strive daily to provide all of our customers with "Future" Generations of Quality Baking that our father and grandfather would stand proudly behind.
